Speaker biography

Ailis is the Self-Advocacy Coordinator at Inclusion International. In her role Ailis manages Inclusion International’s self-advocacy programme Empower Us. She also helps Inclusion International to make sure that the work they are doing includes self-advocates.

Having worked with people with an intellectual disability all her career, Ailis is passionate about inclusion and equality. She is proud to work with so many impactful self-advocate leaders around the world.

When Ailis isn’t working, you’ll find her walking her dog at home in Yorkshire, England or at the pub near her parents’ house in West Cork, Ireland.
