Gaining access to the UN building

To get access you will need to bring an ID that matches the name and details you provided in your online registration submission.

From this, you will be issued a UN Grounds Pass.

Please follow the instructions below to pick up this Pass and gain access to the UN building:

Please arrive at the UN Visitors entrance at 1st Avenue & E 46th Street between 9:15- 9:30am.
If you haven’t already, please pick up your UN Grounds Pass from Robin or Andrew (not the UN security guards) outside the 1st Avenue & E 46th Street Visitors entrance. Please do not go to the entrance at 1st & E 43rd Street.
UN Grounds passes will be distributed to registered participants until 10am. If you are not able to arrive before 10am, please let us know at least 1 day prior and we will try to make arrangements with the United Nations.
After receiving your Grounds Pass, go through the UN security screening process. The conference is taking place in the ECOSOC chamber, this will be signposted. We will update information on how to find this soon.
