23rd September is International Day of Sign Languages

Signing is a fantastic tool to help children develop speech and language skills and can be particularly useful for children with Down syndrome who are known to be visual learners.

We would like to celebrate this important day by sharing your stories about how sign language has been important in your life.

We will share as many stories as we can to raise awareness of the importance of sign languages to people with Down syndrome.

Be sure to include a photo or short video to help capture attention.
