A video touches the heart in a way that no other media can and so they are a great way to raise awareness.

We encourage our supporters to make their own videos as we approach World Down Syndrome Day. This is an opportunity to share a little bit of you with the world.

We have seen all kinds of videos that have been made for World Down Syndrome Day. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
  • "a day in the life" - show us what you get up to in a typical day;
  • a video of you doing your favourite activity;
  • tell us what "Leave No One Behind" means to you;
  • tell us about your hopes and dreams.

If you need a little more inspiration, check out this lovely video made for WDSD 2018 which has been viewed over 5 million times. Now that's a lot of awareness raising!!

Once you have made your video make sure you upload it to Down TV where we have created a global meeting point for all #WorldDownSyndromeDay videos.
