Patricia Andrade Bambarén is a psychologist with a Master Degree in Education and studies in Systemic Family Therapy approach.

She had a sister with Down Syndrome.

Patricia has been working the last nine years in Sociedad Peruana de Síndrome Down as Coordinator for Rights and Citizenship Area where she has consolidated the self advocates program, and has been working with other organizations to achieve legal capacity right for people with intellectual disabilities.

She also coordinates workshops for self determination, decision making process and support decision making networks.She also support   some self advocates on their advocacy efforts with other sef advocates programs.
